One movie that I believe is actually a film would be the Da Vinci Code. For
a movie to be a film, in my opinion, it needs to have a deeper meaning, and it
needs to make you look at the world in a new way. The Da Vinci Code definitely
does this. It is a movie about how a professor looks for the Holy Grail, which,
in this instance, is Mary Magdalene. This movie puts a spin on all preconceived
notions of the Holy Grail, and makes you wonder about the Vatican and think
"What if this was true?” It doesn't have to be true to be a film though, it just needs to make you think.

One movie that I believe is actually a film would be the Da Vinci Code. For

Intro
My name is Vickie and I don't have much exposure to movies. I have some favorite movies, and my favorite genre is definitely anime, and then horror. The movies that I do have I watch all the time. Some of my favorites include Bleach and Black Butler for anime and the Lost Boys along with Resident Evil 3 for movies. I enjoy watching movies that make me think as well, such as the Dragon Tattoo trilogy and The Da Vinci Code series. I am trying to get more exposure to films rather than movies, and my Film as Lit class is going to help me. Throughout the semester I will be discussing the films that we watch.
